Joe L. “Bud” Haney strives to excel and win at everything he does. Attending Sam Houston State University on a baseball scholarship, he was a four-time All American. He played three professional seasons with the Kansas City Athletics until suffering a career-ending injury. After teaching and coaching for two years, he joined his father’s heating and air conditioning business, then formed his own business in the human relations field.
His business success led to an executive position with an international company, where he later became president. In 1991 he was co-founder of Profiles International, the world’s leading developer and supplier of occupational assessments, marketing to more than 50 companies worldwide.
