Richard J. (Dick) Resch

KI CEO Dick Resch was named to the Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI) Academy of Achievement Hall of Fame at a ceremony held on September 22, 2007 in Dallas, Texas. Resch was honored for his significant contributions to KI and Green Bay.
“Dick is a leader in every aspect of the word and exemplifies what the SMEI Academy of Achievement is all about,” said Willis Turner, CAE, CME, CSE, president and CEO, SMEI. “His commitment to KI and to his community is unsurpassed. We’re honored to recognize his outstanding accomplishments both professionally and personally, as he joins an elite group of executives in the SMEI Academy of Achievement Hall of Fame.”
Resch has served as CEO of KI since 1983. Under Resch’s direction, KI has grown from a virtually unknown contract furniture manufacturer to an internationally renowned, highly-respected worldwide corporation. He is dedicated to improving the quality of life in his community and helped to found several nonprofit organizations, including the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.
Resch is also well-known for his philanthropic work, such as his sizeable donations to a YMCA family center in Suring, WI and a YMCA day camp in Green Bay. His financial support also secured the naming rights to the KI Convention Center and the Resch Center.
